1. Who we are and what this covers
Hired AI (“Hired AI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by outGo LLC, provides the Hired AI mobile application and related services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
Please read Section 4 carefully. Hired AI submits job applications on your behalf. This means we send your personal information to employers and their application systems. Once that information reaches an employer, it is governed by that employer’s privacy practices, not ours.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information you provide
Résumé and profile information. The résumé you upload and everything we extract from it: your name, email address, phone number, location, work history, education, skills, and any links you include (such as LinkedIn or a portfolio).
Job preferences. Roles, seniority level, locations, remote preference, employment type, target application pace, and salary expectations if you provide them.
Application answers. Responses to questions that job applications ask, including work authorization status and whether you require visa sponsorship, and answers you give when an application pauses to ask you a question — for example your availability, transportation, whether you have relatives at the company, or whether you have worked there before. These answers are stored and reused on future applications that ask the same question.
Street address and date of birth. We collect these only when an employer’s application form requires them. We ask you at that moment, through the app’s question flow, and use your answer to complete that application. We save it and reuse it for future applications that ask for the same information. Your street address and date of birth are stored encrypted, are never written to logs, and are deleted when you delete your account.
Account information. Your sign-in identity (Apple, Google, or email) and your subscription status.
Communications with us. Messages you send to support.
We never collect or store Social Security numbers. Applications that require one are not submitted.
3. Information we collect automatically
Approximate location. If you allow it, we use your device’s approximate location to show on-site and hybrid jobs near you. We do not collect precise location. If you decline, you see remote jobs only.
Usage data. How you interact with the app: screens viewed, onboarding steps completed, jobs swiped, applications submitted, credits used, features used, and session timing.
Purchase data. Your subscription plan, trial and renewal status, and purchase history (but never your payment details).
How you found us. If you answer the in-app question about how you heard about Hired AI, we store your answer.
Ad attribution. If you installed the app after tapping an Apple Search Ads ad, we receive the campaign, ad group and keyword that led to the install, through Apple’s attribution framework. We use it only to measure our own advertising. We do not use it to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Push notifications. If you allow notifications, we store your device’s push token, your notification permission status, and when the app was last open (so we don’t notify you while you’re already using it).
Device and technical data. Device model, operating system version, app version, language, and crash and diagnostic logs.
Application records. For each application we submit for you: the job, the employer, the date, the résumé version sent, the answers provided, and the outcome.
We do not use advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking.
4. Applications submitted on your behalf
This is the core function of the Service and the most significant way your data is shared.
What we send. When you swipe right on a job, you instruct us to submit an application for you. We complete that employer’s application form using your profile and résumé. Depending on the form, this may include your name, contact details, street address, date of birth, work history, education, résumé file, work authorization status, sponsorship requirements, and answers to employer-specific questions.
Where it goes. Applications are submitted in your name to employers through their applicant-tracking systems, currently Greenhouse and Paylocity. Once submitted, your information is held by that employer and their systems under their own privacy policies. We cannot recall, edit, or delete an application after it is sent.
How answers are produced. We generate answers from information you gave us. Our system is built to use only facts present in your profile, your résumé, or answers you have given us, and never to invent credentials, dates, scores, or qualifications. Work authorization and sponsorship questions are answered from what you told us in your profile.
What we never answer for you. We do not agree on your behalf to arbitration agreements, non-disclosure or non-compete terms, export-control attestations, or codes of conduct, and we do not answer criminal history or professional license questions unless you have answered them yourself. These are shown to you, and the application waits for your answer. Equal Employment Opportunity and other voluntary demographic questions are declined by default and are never inferred or completed from your data. We never provide a Social Security number.
Standing consents. During setup you may give a one-time consent covering jobs that use identity verification or interview recording. If you give it, we answer those questions affirmatively on your behalf. If you do not, we skip those jobs. You can change this at any time in settings.
You are responsible for the content of your applications. Your name is on them. See our Terms of Service.
5. Your application inbox
To complete applications, we create an email address for you at larchmail.com, typically in the form first.last@larchmail.com.
What it is for. This address is entered in the email field of the applications we submit. Employers’ systems use it to send confirmations, verification codes required to complete an application, and recruiter correspondence.
What we do with mail sent to it. We receive it, process it (including extracting verification codes needed to finish submitting an application), classify it (for example as a confirmation, rejection, or interview request), store it, and forward it to your real email address. Verification-code emails are stored but not forwarded.
What this means for you. Email sent to your application inbox — including messages from recruiters and employers — is received and stored on our systems. We do not read it for any purpose other than operating the Service, and we do not use it for advertising or sell it.
How long it lasts. Your application inbox stays active while your account exists, including after you cancel a subscription, because applications you have already sent carry that address and an employer may reply months later. When you delete your account, the inbox is closed and its stored mail is deleted.
Email from us. We never send you app-related or marketing email. The only email you receive through the Service is employer communication forwarded from your application inbox.
6. How we use your information
- To match you with relevant jobs, including jobs near your approximate location
- To tailor your résumé to specific job postings
- To complete and submit applications on your behalf
- To operate your application inbox and forward mail to you

- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not use your résumé or application data to train AI models, and our AI providers do not use data we send them to train their models.
7. Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we send them for application updates only: an application that needs your answers, a reply from an employer, and your first submitted application. We never send marketing notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings. Your push token is deleted when you sign out or delete your account.

10. Security
We protect your information using encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, row-level database security, and regular review of our systems. Street addresses and dates of birth receive additional encryption and are never written to logs. Access to production data is limited to those who need it to operate the Service.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information, including saved application answers

12. US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, or another state with comprehensive privacy legislation, you have the rights described in Section 11, plus the right to appeal a denied request and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.
Certain information we process — such as work authorization and visa sponsorship status, date of birth, and street address — may be treated as sensitive personal information under some state laws. We collect it only because job applications require it, use it only to complete applications, and never for profiling or advertising.
13. Users outside the United States
The Service is currently offered in the United States only. If you access it from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract, legitimate interests (improving the Service, preventing abuse, security), consent (standing consents, location, and notifications), and legal obligation. You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
14. Age requirement
The Service is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
15. Our website
The website tryhiredai.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and collects aggregate visit data (pages viewed, referrer, country, browser) without identifying you. The site sets no tracking cookies.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date. For material changes — particularly to how we submit applications or handle your inbox — we will notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
